How do hearts work?

You have 5 hearts. A wrong number on a puzzle costs one heart, and each monster hit costs half a heart. Hearts refill on their own, from empty to full in 30 minutes.

How do I change the difficulty?

Open Settings and tap Difficulty. You can switch between Relaxed, Classic, Challenging and Expert at any time. Puzzles also get a little harder the farther you build from your castle.

What is a streak?

Your streak counts the days in a row you've played. A Streak Freeze covers one missed day so your streak survives. It's used up automatically.

What are strongholds?

Strongholds are boss fortresses hidden in the fog. Each one is a timed 9x9 sudoku against its guards. Conquer one to claim its land and win a reward.

Where is my progress saved?

Your kingdom is saved on your device. In the app it stays until you delete the app. On the web it's saved in your browser, so clearing your browser's site data or switching browsers starts a new kingdom. There's no account, so progress doesn't move between devices.

How do I turn reminders on or off?

In the app, open Settings and use the reminder button, or turn off notifications for Landoku in your phone's settings.
