Privacy Policy

Landoku is a puzzle game available on the web, iOS and Android. This policy explains what information the game collects and how it's used.

What we collect

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how the game is played and to fix problems. This includes game events (such as puzzles started and finished, battles won or lost, items found and settings changed), your progress in the game (such as kingdom size, streak and difficulty), session times, the app version, your operating system and whether you're on a phone or a computer. On the website it also includes the page address and the site or campaign link that sent you there.

This data is tied to a random identifier created by the game, not to you. We don't ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location or any account details. There are no accounts in Landoku.

How we use it

Usage data is used only to improve the game: balancing difficulty, finding bugs and seeing which features people enjoy. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to build advertising profiles.

Service providers

We use PostHog to process the anonymous usage data. The website is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and to deliver the site.

Your game data

Your kingdom and settings are stored on your device (or in your browser on the web). They aren't uploaded to us. Deleting the app or clearing your browser's site data removes them.

Notifications

If you allow it, the app shows reminders, such as a daily reminder or a note that your hearts are full. These are scheduled on your device and don't send any data to us. You can turn them off at any time in Settings or in your phone's settings.

Children

Landoku doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, for example when adding new features, we'll update this page and the date above.
